These beautiful Diplomystus dentatus comes from a private
quarry located seven miles north of Kemmerer, Wyoming. The zone known as the F2
horizon produces some of the nicest of the Green River Fossil fish. Eocene age,
approximately 50 million years. One fish measures 3 3/4" on an irregular matrix
measuring 3" x 5". The other fish measures 6 1/2" on an irregular matrix
measuring 5 1/2" x 9".
